Dear Avalon
Our world is changing so much, I can smell it on the wind.
And I fear I can only stay the course by being a part from you. I know I am missing so much, but I do cherish what you share in your letters. These long nights and weeks away I must spend questing so I can return with the dowry you need to find a good husband.
I know those concerns feel distant for you but they are ever on my mind.
My journey has only begun, yet even now at the Bald Faced Stag, I have found people who may help us. They whisper of a prophecy. I have to draw the story out of them, but it speaks of a coming age of power.
I shall share more, as I have not forgotten your fondness for mythology.
Papa
PS, I found these curiosities and stories you may enjoy until my next letter.

This a creative way to share your wisdom. I am working through my novel edit. I am looking forward to what I can discern and apply from your journey.
I've set a deadline for myself that I'm already falling behind on. I probably should take a break. I've compromised by writing fewer words each day. That has helped some.
