Hi Zane - I find prompts to be more actionable than any other format. That said, my all time writing prompt is "Steering The Craft: A Twenty-First-Century Guide to Sailing the Sea of Story" by Ursula Le Guin. Always there for me, I refer to prompts in the book to kickstart writing...
Really glad to hear it's inspired action. It sounds cliche but the first step is the hardest, and then around the 10th or so when excitement wears off and keeping up momentum comes in.

Based on concensus so far I'm dropping prompts on Substack, but they'll still be published on Medium as usual at Microcosm.
